4 free WiFi zones
Available since last winter in the Plaine Dranse, Pierre Longue, Pré-la-Joux and Vonnes sector and the bottom of Le Linga the WiFi network extension is planned for the Combes and Super-Châtel sectors for the 2017-2018 winter season.
A new beginner's area
A beginners' area will be created at the edge of the Châtel - Torgon (Switzerland) ski area on the French side, with the construction of a ski lift "Les Douaniers", which will be part of the Châtel Liberté ski pass and the Torgon ski pass. Its exact location is planned in the combe next to the ski lift "Les Contrebandiers" and the panoramic restaurant of the arrival of the chairlift of the Tronchet from Torgon.
The network of snowmaking of culture is extended, on one hand to the top of the Linga on the plateau at the arrival of the gondola and on the beginning of the track which is directly attached to join the departure of the chairlift of L'Echo Alpin and, on the other hand on the plateau of arrival of the chairlift of Pierre Longue and the departure of the chairlift of Rochassons in Plaine-Dranse. Also, the number of snowmen will be doubled on the Linga slalom stadium.
Works on the slopes
Various works on the slopes are planned: at the Linga the springboard on the bottom of the slalom stadium will be removed, widening of runways and increased safety on the La Leiche - L'Aity - La Forgne sector and on the Linga 2 and Les Combes; New cross-country link, return Super-Châtel - Vonnes: pursuit of safety on the La Forestière trail.
Track grooming
For even more efficient track grooming, 5 snow groomers are equipped with the snow level test.
